Finding what you want

• Check the feed regularly — popular items go fast in local communities
• Use AI Search to describe what you're looking for in plain language, like “coffee table under $100”
• Save listings you're interested in — they'll appear in your My Activity page
• Browse by category to narrow down your search

The Top Swap™ queue

When you find something you want, tap “I'm Interested.” You'll join the queue. If you're first, you're the Top Swap — the seller will reach out to you first. If someone's ahead of you, you can see your position and you'll move up automatically if they pass.

• Express interest early — first come, first served
• Add a note when expressing interest to stand out
• If you change your mind, tap Nevermind so the next person gets a chance
• Track all your queue positions in My Activity

Inspecting items

• Look at all the photos carefully — zoom in on details
• Read the full description, especially condition notes
• Ask questions in the comments — other buyers benefit too
• Inspect items in person before paying

Making the deal

• Agree on price and payment method before meeting
• Be on time for pickups — your neighbor is waiting
• Bring exact change if paying cash
• Thank the seller after pickup — a little kindness goes a long way

Getting the best deals

• Free items are posted regularly — perfect for furnishing a new place
• Yard sales are great for finding multiple items at once
• Items priced “OBO” (or best offer) have negotiation room
• Sellers often discount items that have been listed for a while
